Houston Paint Guy is the leader in the industry when it comes to mobile bumper repair. We are not the only mobile bumper repair company in Houston, but we are the best in the world.
The mobile bumper repair business is a niche industry in the automotive collision repair ecosystem, and we take pride in making a name for ourselves in the industry. The following bullet points are what helps set our mobile bumper repair business apart from the traditional brick and mortar body shops.
Same Day Turn Around
Auto Reconditioning Onsite
Low Overhead and Better Pricing for our clients
Bumper Repair & Restoration Services
High Quality Materials from PPG
Same Day Service
We all know someone or might have experienced ourselves the process of getting your car fixed after a collision or fender bender. There are several steps to filing your claim, taking your car to a local paint and body shop to get your free body shop estimate and then waiting to hear back from your insurance agent about getting your car fixed. It can be a real headache, and maybe all you have is minor cosmetic damage on your bumper but yet you still have to waste all this time and energy to get your car fixed.
We offer our clients same day service to get their bumper repaired and refinished onsite in the convenience of your own home. We complete our repairs the same way as any traditional body shop. We only use PPG Base and Clear coats for all our repairs because it provides the best refinish and best application warranty in the industry. The average bumper repair service that we provide for our clients can take anywhere from 3-6 hours from start to finish. That includes repairing the damaged area, spraying primer, spraying base, and spraying clear coat. We perform our repairs on all minor cosmetic damage for any vehicle make or model the same way as any local paint and body shop. This may include cleaning and prepping the damaged surface of your vehicle to get ready for refinishing. The only difference is that we perform the repairs onsite. We save our clients time and money when they Submit an Estimate Request to fix their vehicle. There’s no need to drive around town for several estimates, leave your car at a body shop for 3-4 days, get a rental car or pay more than you need to because Houston Paint Guy offers mobile service repairs for your vehicle at your home.
Auto Reconditioning On-site
We understand how busy life may get and we enjoy catering to our client’s needs. By providing auto reconditioning services to our clients in the comfort of their own home we help save them time and money all in a click or a phone call. We get asked all the time how are you able to paint outside and will the paint dry in time? We use PPG paints and clear coats for our repairs and have special chemical accelerators that allow paint to dry chemically. Traditional body shops have spray booths that cure the paint on a vehicle when baked to 140 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour. When we mix our paint and clear coats we add chemical catalysts based on outdoor temperature to help the paint cure chemically rather than dry the paint in heat physically. If it happens to be a hot day outside then, that helps the curing process when spraying onsite even more.
Low Overhead Means Better Pricing
Traditional body shops have a lot of overhead when you look at the operating expenses it takes to keep a body shop running. This added expense in operating a brick and mortar business means that their pricing will be more than say a mobile bumper repair business. Being mobile allows less overhead and less operating expense that can provide lower prices to our clients. We perform all the repairs the same as any traditional body shop with the added convenience that we are mobile. As a mobile bumper repair service provider, we can give our clients lower pricing with high-quality materials because we don’t have as much overhead. We cover all our expenses being mobile and can pass on the savings to our clients.
In most cases, some repairs can be done for less than your deductible.
Mobile Bumper Repairs & Restoration
Our services include repairing bumper covers damaged by tow hitches, parking barriers, garage doors, key scratches, dents, slow-moving collisions, and many more other types of damage. We can plastic weld your bumper if it has a tear or has a hole in it even when other body shops have already told you that you need a new bumper cover. In most cases, some damage caused to plastic bumper covers can be repaired by heating the bumper to a certain degree or plastic welding it back together. Most traditional body shops don’t want to go through the extra time it will take to repair your bumper back to factory standards because they might make more money by just ordering you a new one or it is way more comfortable for them to order an aftermarket bumper. It takes a highly skilled technician to cosmetically repair and refinish a badly damaged bumper back to its original contour, and not just any shop pr person can do it.
We provide our clients with the added convenience of getting their vehicle repaired in the comfort of their own home, and we walk them through the whole process of how we are going to fix their bumper. We will always give our honest opinion whether a damaged bumper can be restored and refinished back to factory standards or if you are better off getting a new bumper.
High Quality Materials
The saying goes, “You get what you pay for!” This is very true when it comes to getting repairs on your vehicle. Body shops are a dime a dozen and with so many to choose from it can be overwhelming when trying to select the best body in town to fix your car. You might wonder how some body shops charge more than others, and then you have some shops that offer you low pricing that it is too good to be true. Don’t be fooled by a great deal or limited time offer from the auto paint and body down the street just to get you to hand over your car for them to repair it. Chances are they might be offering a lower price than everybody else but are they really using high-quality materials? This is how that body shop was able to quote your repair lower than everyone else by using cheap materials. They use cheap paint and cheap clear coat for their repairs, and while your car may look good for the first year after that, it might start to flake or peel. Cheap paint materials don’t hold up as good as the more expensive paint materials. Some clear coats don’t have UV protection and can fade quicker or appear duller in short amount of time after its painted. We use only PPG base and clear coat because we know it is a high-quality material that has a ten-year warranty to back up their products. We trust PPG as our paint supplier when doing our repairs because of the consistency and quality of product that lasts for years in comparison to other paint brands out there.
